A 3&2 win for DMGC ~V~ Edmondstown ...Our first team out, Paul Best & Martin Dobey won 3&2 on a saturated Dublin Mountain course today. Leo Mahon & Neville Morgan won on the 17th, with Tony Foran & Peter Behan also winning 3&2, away from home Richard Whealans & Kevin Barry took their match to the 14th, with Denis Donohoe & Brian Carthy narrowly edged out on the 18th. Bunker Renovation Project 2015
Currently we have 25 bunkers on the course, over the next few days we
will have completed the upgrade to the bunker on right of hole
No:4
The debris removed + the contaminated old sand will be used to fill part of the left of the 4th hole.
We intend to fill in/reduce in size some of the remaining 25 and also enlarge ones as required. All progress and changes will be logged on this blog......

12th Hole Trees
17 of the trees at the top right of 12th Hole no longer have stakes, So play as it lies or drop under penalty.
Over 80 of the trees on the course are unstaked, so always check before proceeding under the free drop Rule.

Mens Shed Jar Prize, Sat 28th/Sun 1st
Jar total was €342.98
The €50 "Guess whats in the Jar" Competition was won by Brian Cruise €343, Neville Morgan was a very close 2nd and won €20
The Jar was counted by Nicky Mullen & Jim Mulkerrin
Every little helps, it all adds up, But what does it add up to ???
In the last few weeks almost all our members have contributed to the Men's Shed Jar, up to Feb 8th the jar contained €251 !
All of what was raised has gone into replacing the Hazard and OOB markers. A huge thanks to all who contributed.
